The closed and ready-to-use BD Nexiva™ Diffusics™ IV catheter system from Becton Dickinson has been specifically designedfor diagnostic imaging with contrast media. Its sophisticated design is suitable forpower injection procedures up to 22.4 bar / 325 PSI. The three teardrop-shaped distribution holes located in the catheter tip ensureoptimal contrast agent distribution. In addition, the diffusion tip acts to reduce the intensity of the flow exiting the catheter tip, whichdecreases stress on the vein wall.
