Product Description
The BD Vacutainer® urine tubes (microbiology) are provided with a stabiliser of boric acid, sodium borate and sodium format, whichstabilises the samples for up to 48 hours without refrigeration. The sterile vacuum tubes for culture and sensitivity tests are used for thediagnosis of bacterial urinary tract infections. In combination with the BD Vacutainer® urine containers, the system ensureshygienic and closed urine transferwhere the sample containers remain sealed. Thiseffectively protects medical staff from contamination.
