Durafiber™ Ag from Smith & Nephew is anantimicrobial, gel-forming fibre dressing with silverthat is ideal for thetreatment of infected as well as exuding wounds. Depending on the injury, the dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days and has an antimicrobial effect against a broad spectrum of pathogenic germs as well as aerobic and anaerobic bacteria including antibiotic-resistant germs such asMRSA and VRE, yeasts and thread fungi.Thanks to the mixture of cellulose and pulp fibres,atraumatic and complete removalis possible in one piece.
