The "Intersorb plus" soda lime consists ofshort, porous cylinderswith a 3mm diameter and is popular for use in anaesthesia, due to its excellent absorption capacity. During absorption, the colour of the soda lime changes fromwhite to violetand the product is available in a 5 litre canister.
