Smith & Nephew's Intrasite™ Conformable is apolyester viscose gauze impregnated with hydrogelwhich has a gentle yet effective debriding and desloughing action. The gel rehydrates necrotic tissue and absorbs slough and wound exudate. In addition, the Intrasite™ gel increases the moisture content at the wound surface,preventing crust formation. By keeping the wound moist, an ideal wound environment is created, which accelerates wound healing.
