The möLab hs-CRP test is asemi-quantitative rapid testthat is highly sensitive to C-reactive protein. Thecut-off limit lies at 1mg/land the colour intensity of the test line allows for an assessment of whether the quantity lies between 1-3 mg/l, at 3 mg/l or over 3 mg/l. Such CRP values areimportant in cardiology, as they can hint to future coronary events. Even in seemingly healthy patients,CRP values between 1 and 3 mg/l can hint to future coronary events.
