B. Braun'sabsorbableMonomax® suture isultra-long term tear-resistant, elastic, monofilamentand made of poly-4-hydroxybutyrate. This suture material has been specially developed for surgical procedures wherelong-term wound support is required(more than 3 months) and where abdominal closure requires special elasticity. Monomax® offers a longer tear strength than conventional suture materials, which ensures maximum functionality.
