- Test procedure handles with nose or throat swab (alternatively, soaked nasal secretion)
- Simple test procedure
- Reliable test results available in 15 minutes
- 1 pack of 20 test cassettes
- Take anasal or throat swabfrom the patient with a sterile swab.
- Place 6 drops (approx. 400ul) of extraction solution in a reaction vial
- Place the swab in the raction vial andmix the reagentsvigorouslyfor approx. 1 minute
- Remove as much liquid as possible from the swab by pressing and rolling it against the inside of the vial
- Dispose of the swab
- Set the dropper cap on the reaction vial
- Lay the test cassette on a flat, clean working surface and place 3 drops (approx. 120ul) of the test solution in the sample opening
- Start the timer
- After 15 minutes, the test results can be read
- Results read after 20 minutes should no longer be valued as reliable
